Ghost Weeds is a series of photographs of edible weeds growing on the sidewalks of Aubervilliers, France. Until 1900 most market vegetables consumed in Paris were grown on this fertile land just north of Paris, when they were displaced by factories and housing for the migrant workers. If we look closely we can still find traces of this agricultural past in the form of wild plants growing in the cracks of the sidewalks of this this mixed Paris neighbourhood.
